The pleasure of sharing good food and wine among family and friends is at the core of the human experience and among the simple joys of a life well lived. Both Tim Olson and John Ogden like to cook and feel that wine is an integral part of a good meal. Olson Ogden Wines have always been made with food in mind. We strive to produce wines that are rich and intense yet balanced, with good acidity and some restraint.
Our friend, Richard Haake, a winery chef has a particular expertise in matching food to wine to show both in their best light. Chef Richard recently left his position as Executive Chef at Robert Mondavi Winery to start his own consulting business, Winery Chefs (www.winerychefs.com). He developed a few custom recipes that pair with Olson Ogden Wines. We have also included some of our own favorite recipes for you to enjoy!
