"The color is lighter than many Pinot's and is not a good indicator of what is to come. The nose is filled with spice, rose, cola and cherries and is quite aromatic for such a young wine. It is elegant and silky with a medium body and excellent acid balance. There is great complexity and flavors followed by a long finish that goes on and on. This wine is approachable now but will continue to develop for a number of years."

Milla's Blend comes from one of the two vineyards in the Russian River Valley that we currently work with. When we started to assemble the blend for our Russian River Valley bottling, we had three barrels that didn't quite fit into the style we were looking for. Happily they all work well together and thus was borne the idea for special blends and cuvees. Milla's Blend will not be offered every year. We plan to use it for special lots of unique wines and therefore will only be made in certain vintages when the wine merits it.
